Brink Academic Team competes in academic and scholastic competitions against other Oklahoma middle school teams. All 7th and 8th graders at Brink are welcome to attend practice and to try out for the team. We practice most Thursdays, from 2:30 to 3:30, in Mrs. Brese's room. Please see our calendar for specifics. Our teams participate in the Oklahoma Association for Academic Competition (OAAC). Members will also have the opportunity to compete individually at independent scholastic meets, where they will take tests in subjects of their choice. Brink hosts one of the state’s largest scholastic meets, the Moore Interscholastic Challenge (MISC), which is usually the first Saturday in December every year. This is an event that we will need parent participation. Please consider helping.Each competition gives members an opportunity to win medals, trophies, and/or certificates.
